City Conversations Begin
Met with City of Shoreline to discuss the concept of a permanent food truck and arts community — bringing together local makers, street food, and community events.

Shoreline City Council awarded $300,000 to support small business activation in the community — and Wanderlust is the avenue to make it happen.
Public RFP Opens
The City of Shoreline opened a public Request for Proposals for a food truck and arts & crafts community at the Seattle City Light site on NE 185th Street.
$275K State Budget Award
$275,000
The Washington State Legislature awarded $275,000 in supplemental capital budget funding to grow small business opportunity in Shoreline — with Wanderlust as the vehicle to make it real.
Community Cleanup Event
100+ attendees
The North City Neighborhood Association and The Urbanist hosted a community cleanup and demo event at the site with 100+ attendees — neighbors and community members came out to see what's possible.
City–Seattle City Light Agreement
An agreement was approved between the City of Shoreline and Seattle City Light for a temporary use permit, securing the site at 910 NE 185th Street.
RFP Awarded to Wanderlust
After a competitive review, the City of Shoreline selected Wanderlust as the operator — officially naming us the team to bring this vision to life.
Finalizing Agreements
We're in final contractual negotiations with the City of Shoreline. Every detail is being locked in to ensure Wanderlust launches on solid ground.
Second Community Cleanup Event
The North City Neighborhood Association is hosting another community cleanup at the site — another chance for neighbors to roll up their sleeves and help shape what Wanderlust becomes.
Design & Permitting
Site design, layout planning, and permit applications are up next — shaping the physical space that food trucks, makers, and performers will call home.
Construction Begins
Shovels in the ground. Infrastructure, utilities, and the first physical transformation of 910 NE 185th Street into Shoreline's newest community destination.
